Google prepares "AR headset" which is working under the name "Project Iris"

It is reported that Google is currently preparing an Augmented Reality (AR) headset called "Project Iris" and is projected to be released in 2024.

Quoted from 9to5 Google, Monday, previously Google had designed a special operating system called "Augmented Reality OS". ” which will later be operated via their innovative AR device.

Google will later work on the AR headset with a camera facing out and provide additional videos for users while using this device.

Later this AR will have a physical formation similar to the glasses commonly used when skiing.

In addition, this device will have an internal battery that cannot be removed for charging.

In terms of the kitchen runway, it is still unclear which chipset this device will adopt .

There are many possibilities, but the strong candidate, Google's Tensor chip , is an option worth considering.

Google's Head of Hardware, Rick Osterloh, also seems to have leaked that the Tensor developed by Google will be very good to be the foundation for AR devices.

Device technology analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said this device would later become Apple's toughest rival in terms of bringing AR devices to the metaverse .

It is not yet clear whether the device will be named after Google's Pixel smartphone or will have its own stage name.

What is clear, Google is targeting this device to be introduced to the public by 2024.
