He pointed out that there are American attempts to stop the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees "UNRWA", which he said "reflects on the living conditions in the camps." He stated that Hamas "adheres to joint action with all national and Islamic forces in Lebanon." The number of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon is about 200,000, distributed among 12 camps, most of which are under the influence of Palestinian factions, and they suffer from difficult living conditions. Haniyeh reiterated his movement's affirmation of the "holiness of the right of return", and its refusal to waive this right, as well as its rejection of "settlement projects and an alternative homeland." Regarding Hamas' relationship with the surrounding countries, Haniyeh said that his movement "has no problem with any Arab or Islamic component." He added, "We are not hostile to anyone, and our battle is with the Zionist enemy, and we criminalize normalization by anyone." Haniyeh indicated that "Hamas" and the resistance factions are focusing on "their position on all axes and currents of the resistance." He continued, "Hamas is open to all countries, parties and the axis of resistance, and it has a clear and well-known strategic position." On the other hand, Haniyeh said, "The comprehensive resistance is the strategic choice for liberation, especially the military resistance." He pointed out that "the state of political disintegration and chaos experienced by the occupation reflects the obstruction of the Zionist project," saying: "This disintegration is the beginning of its end." Haniyeh pledged, during his speech, to "work to liberate Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons." He said: "We pledge the prisoners in the name of Hamas and our people to work to liberate them, whatever the sacrifices." He added that the Israeli occupation "is not convinced to go to a new (prisoner) exchange deal." Until the end of last May, Israel held 4,700 Palestinian prisoners inside its prisons, including more than 640 administrative detainees, according to the Prisoner Club. Hamas keeps four Israeli soldiers in Gaza without disclosing information about them. Two of them were captured during the 2014 summer war, while the other two entered the Strip in mysterious circumstances.
