Because of his position on the Israeli escalation in Gaza, a French channel deletes Alain Gresh's intervention

Because of his position on the Israeli escalation in Gaza, a French channel deletes Alain Gresh's intervention French journalist Alain Grech said on his social media page that his position condemning the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip is the reason why BFM TV deleted his TV interview. The channel claimed that it took this step to avoid tampering with the content. The French channel BFM TV's removal of the TV interview with journalist Alain Grech on the recent Israeli escalation in Gaza sparked widespread controversy on social media. Since Sunday evening, the interview, which was published earlier in the day, is no longer available online, and even the page that hosted it is now "unavailable". Gresh revealed his invitation on Monday morning on the same channel, but his invitation was subsequently cancelled. During his interview, the French journalist blamed Israel for the recent escalation in Gaza, saying: "It must be remembered that Israel was the one who launched this war... It killed members of the Islamic Jihad movement, as well as about thirty civilians." "This is the fourth or fifth war that Israel is waging on Gaza, in which hundreds of people have been killed," he added. Gresh believes that it was his attitude toward Israel that prompted the channel to delete the clip. While the channel clarified that “the entire interview is clearly available on “RMC” and “BFM”, claiming that if this clip was deleted, it is “to avoid any manipulation” as it was “truncated.” For his part, geopolitical researcher Pascal Boniface revealed the cancellation of his call on this issue as well. It should be noted that both Alain Grech and Pascal Boniface are among the French voices condemning the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinians. During the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, at least 43 Palestinians, including 15 children and four women, were killed, and more than 310 others were wounded, according to the latest report issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
