“Xperia 1 IV gaming” phone from Sony
Sony held its Xperia gaming event on Monday, September 12, 2022, announcing the launch of the Xperia Stream, a cooler case compatible with the Xperia 1 IV smartphone. Also as a broadcast tool.
The accessory connects to the phone via a USB-C port and provides a full-size HDMI port, along with a LAN port and a headphone jack on top. The Xperia Stream does not have any additional buttons or joysticks, which means that the gameplay will remain on the phone screen.
The HDMI port can help display games on a 1080p monitor or TV with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a capture card can also be connected to record and broadcast your game battles. The cooling fans built into the case provide programmable control via a menu Game Enhancer.
The Sony Xperia Stream sells for about $160.
Sony also announced the new Xperia (1 IV) gaming smartphone bundle, which features the newly announced accessory alongside the Xperia (1 IV) with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, priced at $1,225.
