The Council intends to organize activities in cooperation with the Turkish diplomatic missions in the Emirates, with the aim of explaining the agreement to the business world in Turkey and providing opportunities to make the most of the agreement.

He continued, "These activities will include developing cooperation for companies operating in the informatics, health, energy and food sectors."

And last March, it was agreed to reduce customs duties on specific products and goods by 82 percent, in return for completely canceling those duties on some other products, thus enhancing the flow of non-oil intra-trade.

The agreement will provide more than 100,000 jobs in Turkey and about 25,000 in the UAE.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today, Friday: "There was a comprehensive exchange of views on the main aspects of the regional and international agenda, with a focus on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, including the Palestinian issue."

The Foreign Ministry added: "The common view was expressed in favor of the need to reach a comprehensive and early political settlement to many crises in the region."

In turn, the official Saudi Press Agency, "SPA", stated that the Saudi Foreign Minister received a phone call from his Russian counterpart Lavrov, during which they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them.

And she said in a tweet to her on "Twitter": "Regional and international issues and developments of common concern were discussed, and His Highness reaffirmed the Kingdom's continuation of good offices and support for all efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis."
