Meteorology: Moscow experienced the warmest night since the beginning of the year

Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist at the Moscow Meteorological Office, said that last night was the warmest since the beginning of the year in the Russian capital.

The expert wrote on her Telegram channel: “Tuesday to Wednesday night in central Moscow was the warmest night since the beginning of the year. On Balchug Street, the minimum temperature was 18.1 degrees Celsius, and outside the city’s central district, temperatures ranged between 12 and 15 degrees.”

She added: "In the southeastern areas of the Moscow suburbs, the night was warmer compared to the western areas of the city's suburbs, where temperatures were less than 10 degrees Celsius."

Pozdnyakova noted, "The coming nights in the suburbs of the capital will witness temperatures 2-3 degrees higher than last night, and in Moscow the weather is expected to become stifling."
