Egypt : An unemployed man was arrested in possession of 100 kg of the drug “Hydro” in Ismailia Governorate.

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced on Friday that an unemployed man in the Central District, east of the Suez Canal, had been arrested in possession of 33 large wraps of the drug "Hydro", weighing about 100 kilograms.

The security services of the Ismailia Security Directorate, in cooperation with the Qantara East Investigation Unit, were able to “arrest an unemployed resident of the village of Mit Abu al-Koum, the Markaz district, east of the Suez Canal, in possession of 33 large rolls of hydro anesthetic weighing about 100 kilograms.”

The security services explained that “the accused, Mahmoud J., 24 years old, unemployed and residing in Mit Abu al-Kum al-Qantara, east of the canal, was arrested.”

It also confirmed that "the accused was taken into custody, the necessary report on the incident was prepared, and the relevant authorities were notified to undertake investigations and take the necessary legal measures."
