The military council announced on July 3 that more than 13 million WY drug tablets worth over 20 billion Burmese kyats were seized in Nay Pyi Taw, where the military council is headquartered.

It is said that since the arrest of two drug-carrying gang members in Nay Pyi Taw on June 25, the remaining nine members have continued to be arrested.
