Meta uses FB and IG user activity data as Meta AI's 'memory'

Jakarta - Meta will use user activity data on Facebook and Instagram as a 'memory' for their artificial intelligence (AI), Meta AI, so that the virtual assistant can provide recommendations according to the user's preferences.

As reported by Engadget on Tuesday, Meta has just introduced this update for users in Canada and the United States. Meta AI can find out the user's preferences based on the information he shares in the chat with him.

Meta uses examples of food allergies and other dietary restrictions so that the meta AI will “remember” the user’s preferences to recommend recipes that suit their needs.
