Jakarta - Apple and Google have restored TikTok to their app stores in the United States (US) on Thursday (13/2) evening local time, almost a month after they removed the short video app following the US ban on TikTok.
According to a Bloomberg report quoted in a TechCrunch broadcast on Thursday (13/2), TikTok is back available on the Apple and Google app stores for users in the US after United States Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed in a letter that the ban would not be enforced immediately.
In addition to bringing back TikTok, Apple and Google are restoring other apps owned by TikTok parent company ByteDance that were previously removed from their app stores to comply with US government requirements.
The applications in question are the CapCut video editor application and the Lemon8 social media application.
