Jakarta - The Ministry of Transportation stated that the Joint Decree which regulates restrictions and operational arrangements for goods vehicles aims to ensure smooth and safe travel during the 2025 Eid homecoming and return flow.
"This is to ensure safety, security, order, smoothness, and optimize road and crossing traffic during the 2025 Eid homecoming and return flow," said Head of the Ministry of Transportation's Communication and Public Information Bureau, Budi Rahardjo, in a statement in Jakarta, Friday (14/3).
In order to regulate the operational aspects of goods transportation during the 2025 Eid holiday, the government has issued a Joint Decree (SKB) involving three agencies.
The regulation is stated in the Joint Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number: KP-DRJD 1099 of 2025, the Director General of Sea Transportation Number: HK.201/4/4/DJPL/2025, the Head of the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police Number: Kep/50/III/2025, and the Director General of Highways Number: 05/PKS/Db/2025 concerning the Regulation of Road Traffic and Crossings During the Homecoming and Return Holiday of Eid Transportation in 2025/1466 H.
The regulation is carried out through operational restrictions on goods transportation, namely restrictions on goods transportation vehicles on goods vehicles with 3 or more axles, goods vehicles with attached trains, trailer trains, and goods vehicles that transport excavation results, mines, and building materials.
