Ducati racer Francesco Bagnaia said he was overall satisfied with his second podium in the fourth series of MotoGP 2025 at the Lusail Circuit, Qatar, Monday WIB.
The 2023 and 2024 champion made the remarks after giving his best effort from eleventh on the grid.
He actually finished on the third podium, but because of the 16-second penalty to Maverick Vinales from second to 14th position, the second podium was his, while third place went to Franco Morbidelli.
“Overall, I'm happy with today's result, because you never know what can happen when you start from eleventh on the grid," Bagnaia told Ducati's website on Monday.
But the racer who is familiarly called Pecco complained about the difference in his performance on Saturday and Sunday .
