Dozens killed and injured in a US raid on an African migrant center in Saada.

The Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV channel quoted the Civil Defense as saying, "68 African migrants were killed and 47 others were injured as a result of the US aggression targeting the illegal immigrant shelter in Saada city."

Images and a video broadcast by the channel showed widespread destruction at the targeted site, wounded people being transported, and what appeared to be the scattered bodies of African migrants.

The Houthi-run Interior Ministry said that "deliberate" US airstrikes targeted a shelter housing 115 illegal immigrants, all of African nationalities.

The group said on Friday that the United States had launched more than 1,200 airstrikes and naval bombardments since mid-March, killing and wounding hundreds of civilians.

The raids also destroyed civilian objects in residential neighborhoods, ports, health facilities, water tanks, and archaeological sites, "in flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law," according to the Houthis.

On March 15, the United States resumed its attacks on Yemen, following orders from US President Donald Trump to the US military to launch a "major offensive" against the Houthi group, before threatening to "completely eliminate" them.

But the group ignored Trump's threat and resumed bombing sites inside Israel and ships in the Red Sea heading toward the country, in response to Tel Aviv's resumption of its war of extermination against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on March 18.
