Google to invest 75 billion US dollars in data centers


Las Vegas - Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed that they will make major investments in their servers and data centers including supporting AI computing and cloud services.

"By 2025, we plan to invest around 75 billion US dollars in capital expenditure," said Sundar while giving a keynote at Google Cloud Next 2025 at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, United States, Wednesday (8/4) local time.

According to him, Google is investing in all layers of AI innovation, from infrastructure to foundation.

Google’s platform network is available in more than 200 countries and territories, supported by more than 2 million miles of underground cable as a global and resilient foundation for an AI-based future.
