Former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp congratulated Liverpool on their success in winning the English Premier League title again.
Klopp, who led Liverpool to become league champions in the 2019/2020 season, congratulated Arne Slot who managed to lead The Reds to become champions with four games remaining, after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 in the 34th week at Anfield, Sunday.
"Very grateful for the past, very, very happy with the present, very positive with the future! Congratulations – YNWA," said the German coach, quoted from his official Instagram account, Tuesday.
Meanwhile, before Klopp congratulated Liverpool, Slot first paid tribute to the coach who previously coached The Reds in the 2015/2016 season.
Slot expressed his gratitude to Klopp with a chant of “Jurgen Klopp, la la la la la” at Anfield, just after his team sealed the title.
The song, he said, was a form of thanks to Klopp for the special legacy he left behind.
