Martyrs in new massacres by the occupation in Khan Yunis... UNRWA: Half a million Palestinians displaced in one month

Local sources reported the deaths of 12 Palestinians in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Eyewitnesses said a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Mansoura Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Medical sources also reported that a family of five, including three children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent sheltering them in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The family was living in a tent for displaced persons after being displaced from their home east of Khan Yunis Governorate due to the Israeli war of extermination.

The occupation forces also launched two separate airstrikes targeting a house in the Al-Manara neighborhood, southeast of Khan Yunis, without any casualties reported.

Meanwhile, an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians near the cemetery of the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of the city, without causing any injuries.

Dozens of martyrs

On Thursday, Palestinian civil defense and medical sources reported that 20 Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a house inhabited by displaced persons in the Jabalia al-Balad area in the northern Gaza Strip.

Civil Defense said, "There are still missing people under the rubble, and it is difficult to retrieve them due to the lack of heavy rescue equipment."

Israeli airstrikes targeted apartments and tents housing displaced persons and civilian gatherings in various parts of the Gaza Strip, killing 47 Palestinians, including children and women.

Seven Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the Yarmouk area of Gaza City.

Earlier, an Israeli airstrike targeting a police station in Jabalia killed at least 10 Palestinians.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that Al-Durra Children's Hospital in Gaza City was out of service, a day after an Israeli airstrike hit the upper part of the building, damaging the intensive care unit and destroying the facility's solar panel system.

Half a million displaced in a month

Describing the current situation in Gaza, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a statement on the X platform on Friday that "Gaza's overcrowded shelters are in dire condition, service providers are struggling to function, and remaining resources are running out due to the Israeli blockade."

The UN agency stressed that "repeated Israeli evacuation orders leave Palestinians with only a fragmented and unsafe area of less than a third of the Strip."

She noted that nearly half a million Palestinians were displaced over the past month due to repeated Israeli evacuation orders in the Gaza Strip.

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation army issued a new warning to Palestinians to evacuate the Beit Hanoun and Sheikh Zayed areas in the northern Gaza Strip, in preparation for an attack on them.

On an almost daily basis, Israel issues a series of forced eviction warnings in various areas of the Gaza Strip, including Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and Jabalia in the north, as well as the entire city of Rafah and parts of Khan Yunis in the south.

Its attacks are not usually limited to these areas, but rather target areas to which Palestinians have fled, including schools and hospitals, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries daily.

Since resuming its genocide on March 18, Israel has killed 1,978 Palestinians and injured 5,207 others, most of them children and women, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health on Thursday.
