Youth and Sports Minister Dito Ariotedjo said the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) received the largest budget support from his ministry because it was targeted to qualify the national team from age groups to seniors for the World Cup.
"Our target is clearly to qualify for the World Cup. Alhamdulillah, the (Indonesian national football) U-17 team has made history and we must continue to push for this," said Dito Ariotedjo at the "Signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Parent Organization of Sports Branches (IOCO) in the framework of the National Training Center (Pelatnas) in 2025 and the Organization of the World Rock Climbing Championship and World Surfing League in 2025" in Jakarta, Monday.
PSSI received a budget of Rp199.7 billion from a total of Rp420.2 billion disbursed for 13 sports.
