PT LIB helps find a solution to club licensing problems

Jakarta - The main commissioner of PT Liga Indonesia Baru Zainudin Amali explained that his institution always helps clubs participating in the Indonesian League to find solutions regarding club licensing issues or other problems.

"We are not playing around with this licensing, the important thing is that it is done, we can continue (to compete). LIB helps find a way out. We are certainly grateful to the government that has helped prepare the field by President Prabowo," Zainudin told reporters at a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday.

"Maybe later according to the agreement as done by Mr. Teddy in Persib. He can make GBLA cooperation with Persib for 30 years," he continued giving an example.

In May last year, only nine of the 18 Liga 1 clubs had fulfilled the paperwork to enter the AFC's Club Licensing Administration System (CLAS). The nine clubs were Bali United FC, Borneo FC Samarinda, Persik Kediri, Madura United FC, Persebaya Surabaya, Persib Bandung, and Persija Jakarta.

On that occasion, PT LIB Operations Director Asep Saputra explained that his party had given confirmation to the participating clubs that licensing matters would be closely related to the provision of commercial contributions from PT LIB.
