Indonesian representative RRQ Hoshi managed to secure a place in the Grand Final of ESL Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) Mobile Masters 2025 after defeating compatriots Team Liquid ID (TLID) in the semifinals held at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday night.
RRQ Hoshi, strengthened by Rinz, Idok, Sutsujin, Dyrennn, and Toy stopped TLID's steps with 3-1. The victory was also RRQ Hoshi's revenge when they lost to TLID in the grand final of MPL Indonesia last season.
"There are no grudges, we play against whoever is in front of us," said Idok after the match when asked about the revenge effort to beat TLID.
In the first game, TLID, strengthened by Aran, Faviannn, Yehezkiel, Widy, and Aeronshiki, played aggressively to dominate the game. With Aran's improvisation and initiation, TLID ended the game in the 15th minute by controlling two lords and recording 24 kill points compared to RRQ Hoshi's 12.
However, after that RRQ Hoshi rose to turn things around and dominate the semifinal match to secure a place in the final round.
