Apple CEO Tim Cook made his first public comment on the impact of import tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump at the company's second-quarter financial report conference.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Friday, although Apple only felt a “limited impact” from the tariffs during the March quarter, Tim said the company could not yet predict how the conditions would affect the following quarter.
However, if conditions remain as they are, Apple estimates that the import tariff policy will only increase the company's expenses by US$900 million (Rp14.8 trillion) in the third quarter.
