Government strategy to strengthen digital resilience against disinformation

Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria said that during the leadership of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, the government has set a strategy to strengthen national digital resilience in an effort to combat disinformation that is spreading in Indonesia's cyberspace.

Nezar said that a strategy to counter disinformation is important for Indonesia because if this phenomenon is not addressed properly, it can become a serious threat to democracy, public trust, and even social order in society.

"The President called for increased digital resilience, cross-sectoral collaboration, and strengthening public communication to ensure that lies do not dictate our national discourse," Nezar said in his statement received.
