English Premier League club Manchester United is reportedly at the forefront of acquiring Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Quoted from Sky Sports, Wednesday, Delap is reportedly happy to dock at Old Trafford next summer, especially since Ipswich Town is certain to be relegated to the Championship Division next season.
Despite being reported as the frontrunner, Delap's decision to join Manchester United will still depend on the Red Devils winning the Europa League so they can compete in the Champions League next season.
Manchester United's success in winning the Europa League could see them compete with other potential suitors for Delap, namely Newcastle and Chelsea, who still have a chance to appear in the Champions League by competing in the top five of the Premier League standings.
