The Palestinian WAFA news agency reported that a citizen was killed and others were injured in an Israeli drone strike on a home belonging to the Al-Shaarawi family near the Al-Sawarha School, southwest of Nuseirat. Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat announced the arrival of the body of a martyr and the injury of a citizen from the Al-Sawarha area.

In the same context, a civilian was injured by drone fire on Al-Nazzaz Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, coinciding with artillery shelling targeting the eastern Shuja'iyya and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods in Gaza City.

Medical sources reported this morning that two civilians were killed in a shelling that also targeted a house in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, while a girl was killed and others were injured in an artillery attack that targeted a tent for displaced people west of Khan Yunis.

Four others were injured in Israeli artillery shelling targeting displaced persons' tents west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. A child was also shot in the foot by Israeli forces near the Al-Sumoud camp in Al-Mawasi.

In a separate attack, two fishermen were injured by Israeli naval gunfire off the coast of Khan Yunis. The Israeli military also continued its demolition of homes in various areas of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, as well as in the al-Tuffah and al-Shuja'iyya neighborhoods east of Gaza City.

Israel's Channel 12 broadcast images showing massive destruction in Rafah, to which the Israeli government intends to transfer civilians under the "Gideon Vehicles" military plan. The Israeli Security Cabinet approved a plan to expand the military operation in the Gaza Strip to include the occupation of the entire territory.

Images indicate that approximately 80% of buildings in Rafah have been destroyed, with only the northern part of the city remaining. The report stated that March 2024 saw the destruction of approximately 1,100 buildings in Rafah, the highest number compared to the rest of the Gaza Strip during the same period.
