The Israeli occupation forces targeted tents housing displaced persons and fishermen, homes, and Palestinian gatherings in the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip with a series of airstrikes and gunfire, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses.

The Israeli occupation forces killed four Palestinians, including a child, after a drone targeted a home appliance store in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The bombing also left 27 others injured, including four children and five women.

This was preceded by the killing of two Palestinians and the wounding of others in an Israeli airstrike targeting a gathering of civilians in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

In the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting a gathering of civilians near the Al-Sawarha area.

In the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces killed a girl and wounded others in an artillery attack targeting a tent for displaced persons west of Khan Yunis, while two fishermen were wounded by Israeli naval gunfire off the coast of Khan Yunis.

In the northern Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces killed three Palestinians after targeting them with a drone in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, while a fourth Palestinian was killed in an artillery attack on the Shujaiya neighborhood east of the city.

This was preceded by the killing of five Palestinians in an Israeli airstrike targeting two homes in the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

In another context, the Israeli occupation forces continued their operations to demolish homes in various areas of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, and the Al-Tuffah and Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhoods in the eastern Gaza City, according to eyewitnesses.

100,000 tons of explosives

In this context, the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip stated on Thursday that Israel has dropped 100,000 tons of explosives since the beginning of the genocide 19 months ago, resulting in the martyrdom or disappearance of more than 62,000 Palestinians and the perpetration of more than 12,000 massacres.

The office explained in a statement published Thursday that "Israel has dropped more than 100,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip since the start of the war of extermination on October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom and disappearance of more than 62,000 Palestinians, including more than 10,000 who remain under the rubble, with some of their fates unknown."

He stressed that "Israel committed more than 12,000 massacres, including 11,926 against Palestinian families, completely exterminating 2,200 families and erasing 6,350 people from the civil registry."

In the context of the crimes targeting cemeteries, the office stated that "the occupation has stolen 2,300 bodies from cemeteries in the Gaza Strip and established seven mass graves inside hospitals, from which 529 martyrs have been recovered so far."

Regarding the health disaster in Gaza, he said that more than 2.1 million cases of infectious diseases have been recorded due to forced displacement and the collapse of the health infrastructure, including 71,338 cases of hepatitis.

The statement also included data related to the destroyed religious and relief infrastructure, indicating that the Israeli occupation army completely destroyed 828 mosques and partially destroyed 167, and targeted three churches, in addition to 19 cemeteries out of 60 that were completely or partially destroyed.

As part of its starvation policy, Israel has targeted 66 relief facilities, including 29 food shelters and 37 aid distribution centers, while preventing the entry of 37,400 aid and fuel trucks since completely closing the crossings more than two months ago.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with US support, has been committing genocidal crimes in Gaza, leaving more than 172,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
