Ministry of Tourism emphasizes that waste management is the foundation of sustainable tourism destinations

The Ministry of Tourism stated that waste management at tourist destinations is the main foundation in presenting comfortable and sustainable destinations.

"Organized waste management will have a positive impact on the sustainability and image of Indonesian tourism globally," said Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa in a written statement received in Jakarta, Monday.

Ni Luh Puspa said that the implementation of 3R-based waste management (reduce, reuse, recycle) is a real manifestation of presenting quality and sustainable tourism.
