The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the net zero transition is a national strategy related to Indonesia's Nationally Determined Contribution commitment.
"If we are serious about the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) commitment, then we need to see the net zero transition not as discourse, but as a national strategy," said Head of the Integrated Property Area Development Agency of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Budiarsa Sastrawinata.
Indonesia's NDC is a national commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change, in accordance with the Paris Agreement to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
In the agreement, 197 countries agreed to an international treaty on climate change and commitments made by each country to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve global climate goals.
