Persebaya Surabaya is wary of the game of the home team Persik Kediri in the 31st week match of Liga 1 2024/2025 which will take place at the Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri City, East Java.
Persebaya coach Paul Munster said the East Java derby match would not be easy. The home team nicknamed "The White Tigers" is hunting for a target to move away from the bottom zone and break the negative trend of 12 matches without a win.
"Persik is a team filled with good players in League 1, whatever it is I don't want to underestimate the teams in League 1 including Persik. We focus on our own team," said Munster in Kediri, Sunday.
The Northern Irish coach also said his team has made maximum preparation to face Persik Kediri. The team has trained intensively and remains optimistic that they can steal points at Persik's home ground.
Currently, Bajol Ijo is in fourth place and is only one point behind Dewa United who is in second place and Malut United is ahead on head to head in third place.
