The hunt for the Dutch League title this season will be decided in the final week along with the results achieved by PSV Eindhoven and Ajax Amsterdam in the 33rd week.

In the 33rd week of the Dutch League which took place simultaneously, Thursday early morning WIB, PSV was able to defeat Heracles Almelo 4-1, while Ajax was held to a 2-2 draw by FC Groningen, according to Eredivisie records.

The result sees PSV return to first place in the Dutch League standings with 76 points from 33 matches, one point ahead of Ajax who dropped to second place with 75 points.

In the final week or 34 of the Dutch League which will be held simultaneously on Sunday (18/5) at 19.30 WIB, PSV is scheduled to visit Sparta Rotterdam's headquarters, while Ajax will host FC Twente.

PSV are required to win the match to secure their 26th Dutch league title, without having to worry about Ajax's result.

Peter Bosz's squad could win the title if they only draw or even lose, provided Ajax loses to FC Twente.

On the other hand, the only scenario for Ajax to win their 37th Dutch League title is to beat FC Twente, while PSV are defeated by Sparta Rotterdam.

If PSV loses and Ajax draws, then both teams will have the same points, namely 76 points from 34 matches, then PSV will be crowned champions because they have a goal difference surplus of 62, quite far from Ajax who has a goal difference surplus of 33.
