"The murderous Zionist Israel is raining death even on those who provide aid to the oppressed Palestinians," Kurtulmuş said in a statement posted on his X platform account. "We condemn this heinous crime and denounce the silence of international bodies that remain spectators to these repeated violations."
He explained that the five volunteers were killed in Israeli airstrikes while carrying out relief activities in Gaza in cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP), stressing that the attacks "prove once again that Israel does not recognize borders, law, or humanity, and acts as an occupying entity and a war criminal."
Kurtulmuş concluded his remarks by stressing "the need to continue the struggle and work tirelessly together to hold Israel accountable for its crimes and ensure that its violations against the Palestinian people and humanitarian workers cease."
