Indonesian men's singles Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah secured his place in the main round of the BWF World Tour Super 300 Taiwan Open 2025 after winning two matches in the qualifying round at the Taiwan Arena.

Ubed, Mohammad Zaki's nickname, performed solidly by defeating Czech Republic representative Jan Louda in two straight games 21-13, 21-19.

In the deciding match, the 17-year-old badminton player again showed a convincing performance by defeating Indian singles player Raghu Mariswamy 21-16, 21-17.

With this result, Ubed became the only Indonesian representative from the men's singles sector to appear in the main round and will challenge sixth seed Chi Yu-jen from Taiwan in the first round.
