Amid ongoing attacks, Hebrew media claims an Iranian missile was intercepted in southern Israel without casualties.

The private Israeli Channel 12 quoted an unnamed Israeli political source as saying, "The army was able to intercept one missile after the sirens sounded in the south of the country, without causing any casualties."

The channel did not specifically mention the location of the missile interception, nor did the Israeli occupation army officially announce its interception.

This comes at a time when Israel is imposing a strict blackout on sites targeted by Iranian missiles and drones, particularly those targeting military or vital sites, claiming that revealing these sites would provide "assistance to the enemy."

For its part, the occupation army said in a brief statement: "Residents of the south can leave their shelters."

Shortly before that, air raid sirens sounded in several areas of southern Israel, including the Negev, the cities of Beersheba and Dimona, the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip, and the settlement of Nevatim, which houses the Nevatim Air Base.

The Israeli occupation army announced that it had detected missiles launched from Iran and said that air defense systems were working to intercept them.

The Iranian News Agency (IRNA) reported the start of the tenth wave of complex and concentrated attacks launched by the Iranian armed forces against Israel, as part of Operation "True Promise 3."

The Iranian agency reported that "missiles were launched from various regions of the country, and are on their way to the Zionist entity (Israel)."

This is the third time since Tuesday morning that Tehran has launched missiles at Israel.

Since dawn on Friday, Israel, with US support, has launched an aggression against Iran, bombing nuclear facilities and missile bases, and assassinating military leaders and nuclear scientists, leaving 224 dead and 1,277 wounded. Tehran has responded with ballistic missiles and drones, leaving approximately 24 dead and hundreds wounded.

Tel Aviv and Tehran consider each other their arch-enemies, and Israel's current aggression against Iran is the most extensive of its kind, representing a transition from a "shadow war" of bombings and assassinations to an open military conflict.
