Hebrew media reported that a Qassam Brigades drone dropped a bomb on soldiers in Shuja'iyya, amid ongoing violent clashes. Media outlets also reported that military helicopters landed at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv and Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, after earlier announcing that helicopters were on their way to evacuate wounded soldiers from the Gaza Strip.

Media outlets reported that "the Israeli Air Force provided air cover for the army" in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, amid ongoing violent clashes.

In this context, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Tuesday to continue the aggression against the Gaza Strip, despite what he described as the "heavy price" Israel is paying.

"We are advancing with measured steps to minimize the casualties of our soldiers as much as possible, but there are no wars without a price," Netanyahu said in a post on the X platform, following the Israeli army's announcement that three of its soldiers were killed in an attack on a Hummer military vehicle north of the Gaza Strip. He was referring to the army's mounting losses in the Gaza battles.

He also pledged to "defeat Hamas and ensure that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel." In a message to the families of the fallen soldiers, he said, "Your sons did not die in vain, but in a just war like no other. We will defeat Hamas, free all our hostages, and ensure that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel," he claimed.

He also claimed that his army was making "remarkable progress," despite mounting losses, adding, "The price the Israelis are paying is heavy, and sometimes seems unbearable." However, he stressed that his government "will continue until all the war's objectives are achieved," affirming the continuation of the war of extermination against the Palestinians in Gaza.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli army announced the killing of three soldiers and the wounding of two others in an explosive device explosion on Monday evening in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip. This brings the number of soldiers killed since the beginning of the war to 861, including 419 in the ground battles in the Gaza Strip, which began on October 27, 2023, according to Israeli army data.

With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 179,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, more than 11,000 missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced.
