Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Brentford to bring in Danish midfielder Christian Norgaard in this summer's transfer market.
According to a report by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano on Thursday, the deal is worth around 11 million euros (Rp. 208 billion).
"Norgaard will undergo a medical soon after receiving permission from Brentford," Romano wrote on his X account.
The transfer was made to fill the void in Arsenal's midfield after Jorginho left for Flamengo and the uncertainty over the future of Thomas Partey, whose contract will expire in the next few days.
Norgaard, who is 31, is considered an ideal replacement due to his Premier League experience and solid defensive abilities.
