Indonesian League 1 club Bali United has officially announced the signing of defender Joa Ferrari as the first foreign recruit to compete in the 2025/26 season.
Quoted from the club's official website, Tuesday, Bali United Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yabes Tanuri revealed the reason his team brought in Joao Ferrari in this player transfer market.
"Based on statistical records from last season, Joao has a very good record in the back line so that the management and coaching team are working together with Joao," said Yabes.
"Hopefully, this player from Brazil can make a positive contribution and help give the best achievements for Bali United," he continued.
In the previous season, the Brazilian player defended PSIS Semarang and appeared in 34 matches in the 2024/25 Indonesian League 1 and contributed two goals and one assist.
