The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is reviewing a number of policies to address brawls, starting from involving criminologists and psychologists, the major #JagaJakarta campaign to the formation of an Anti-Brawl Task Force.
This was discussed in a cross-sector coordination meeting attended by the governor's special staff and experts, regional secretaries, assistant regional secretaries, and heads of departments and directors of related BUMDs.
"Brawl in Jakarta seems to be a hereditary problem with various causes," said the Coordinator of the Special Staff of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Firdaus Ali in Jakarta, Thursday.
Therefore, the presence of the Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) to handle this problem is highly anticipated by the public.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will explore collaboration with psychologists and criminologists from various universities around Jakarta to formulate more comprehensive solutions.
