Donald Trump says he's finding a buyer for TikTok in the US

US President Donald Trump said that a group of very wealthy people in the US will buy the short video application TikTok so that the application can meet the requirements to operate in the long term in the US.

"By the way, we already have a buyer for TikTok," Trump said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday morning as broadcast by Techcrunch.

Furthermore, Donald Trump said the deal to buy TikTok in the US might require the blessing of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

"I think I might need approval from China. I think President Xi [Jinping] might do that," he said.
