Find out which Arab club has the most chances of winning the Club World Cup

Football fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the Club World Cup in the United States, which will run from today, Saturday, until July 13.

This edition of the Club World Cup will see the participation of five Arab clubs: Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Al-Ain of the UAE, Al-Ahly of Egypt, Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.


OPTA, the global statistics network, revealed its predictions for the potential of Arab teams to compete after analyzing the five clubs participating in the Club World Cup.

The global network confirmed that the Arab club with the best chance of winning the Club World Cup and competing for the title is Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, with a chance of (0.3%).

According to the network, Al-Ahly of Egypt is the second most likely Arab team, with a slight difference from Al-Hilal (0.2%).


The network ruled out the possibility of Al Ain, Wydad, and Esperance competing for the world title, stressing that the three teams' chances are impossible.

The new World Cup format includes 32 teams divided into 8 groups, with the top two teams advancing to the round of 16.

No Arab team has ever won the Club World Cup under its old format, but three Arab clubs have advanced to the final: Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), and Al Ain (UAE).
