Hangtuah Jakarta's foreign player, Rakeem Christmas, emphasized that his team is not burdened ahead of the 2025 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) playoff round.
For the former NBA player, the playoffs are just part of the competition that must be lived with passion and excitement.
"It's just a basketball game. I don't see it as something big or stressful. We just want to go out, play hard and have fun," Rakeem said when met.
According to him, the key to facing the playoffs is to stay focused on the little things and maintain team cohesion. He said Hangtuah is fixing technical errors that emerged at the end of the regular season.
"We work together, fixing the little things that often become problems. If that is fixed, we are ready to perform optimally," he said.
