Inter Miami and Palmeiras football clubs secured tickets to the last 16 of the 2025 Club World Cup after drawing 2-2 in their final Group A match at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, United States.
Inter Miami, led by captain Lionel Messi, dominated the game by taking a 2-0 lead through goals from Tadeo Allende in the 16th minute and Luis Suarez in the 65th minute.
However, Palmeiras, who also tried to press from the start of the match, finally broke the deadlock through Paulinho's goal in the 80th minute, followed by a goal from Mauricio's hard kick in the 87th minute, making the score 2-2.
