KISP encourages collective anti-corruption movement through Democracy Guard Class

The Independent Election Awareness Committee is encouraging a collective anti-corruption movement for the younger generation through a webinar entitled "Democracy Guard Class: Growing Anti-Corruption Awareness and Concern Towards Golden Indonesia 2045" online.

"This activity emphasizes the importance of building anti-corruption awareness and concern for the younger generation as a foundation towards Golden Indonesia 2045," said KISP General Coordinator Moch Edward Trias Pahlevi in a statement in Yogyakarta, Sunday.

According to him, the Democracy Guard Class, which collaborates with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and various student communities and democracy activists, was born out of concern over the rampant practice of money politics in the implementation of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

"Money politics is the forerunner of future corruption. Post-election, the issue of corruption must continue to be discussed and monitored together," he said.
