Malut United management has finally spoken openly about the controversy surrounding the dismissal of head coach Imran Nahumarury and Technical Director Yeyen Tumena which had attracted widespread attention from the Indonesian football public.
Malut United Deputy Manager, Asghar Saleh in Ternate, Tuesday, explained that this difficult decision was not taken without basis, but rather to maintain the integrity of the club and cleanse the football culture from deviant practices.
According to Asghar, the decision to dismiss the two figures who are known to have big names was based on a series of serious violations that had occurred since they were still managing the team in the League 2 competition.
