The Ministry of Communication and Digital said that disadvantaged, outermost and remote areas (3T) are a priority for providing fast internet access at affordable prices to the public.
Special Staff of the Minister for Communication and Politics of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, Arnanto Nurprabowo, said that currently efforts to provide fast and cheap internet are still in process by utilizing existing frequencies and preparing frequency auctions for cellular operators.
"We are trying to ensure that in the future, widespread and even internet access, and of course at a price that is affordable for the community, is a priority," said Arnanto when met at the Kemkomdigi Office.
