PSM Makassar goalkeeper Reza Arya admitted that he was motivated to be called up by the Indonesian National Team again after he was included in the list called up by Patrick Kluivert for two matches against China and Japan.
In the last two matches of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Reza was one of five goalkeepers called by Kluivert in the match. The other four goalkeepers called by Kluivert were Maarten Paes, Emil Audero, Ernando Ari, and Nadeo Argawinata.
Reza failed to make it into the final 23 squads for the two matches, but in his heart, his determination to make his debut for the Garuda team has not yet died down.
"Of course, players come and go. Now there are Marten Paes and Emil Audero," said Reza, quoted from the official website of PT Liga Indonesia Baru, Tuesday.
