Police and Jasa Marga officers stopped the contraflow traffic engineering after the density of vehicles crossing the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road during the long Islamic New Year holiday which coincided with the start of school holidays had eased.
Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT Ria Marlinda Paallo in her statement in Karawang Regency, West Java, Friday, said that after the contraflow traffic engineering was carried out , finally the traffic density on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road gradually returned to normal.
Furthermore, at the discretion of the police, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol stopped the traffic engineering system by changing part of the normal flow of vehicles (contraflow) from KM 55 to KM 65 towards Cikampek on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on Friday at 15.33 WIB.
"Currently, traffic conditions on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road have returned to normal in both directions," he said.
