US intelligence believes Iran is likely to manufacture a nuclear weapon if the Fordow facility is attacked.

that US intelligence officials said that Iran already possesses a large stockpile of uranium enriched enough to make a bomb, but has not made a decision to proceed with the development of a weapon.

Officials added that Iran's decision on this matter could change if the United States attacks the Fordow nuclear facility or if Israel assassinates Khamenei.

For her part, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said at a press conference, "Iran has all the material necessary to produce a nuclear weapon. All that's missing is a decision from the Supreme Leader. If that decision is made, producing a weapon would only take a few weeks."

While some officials believe these estimates are consistent with Israeli intelligence reports indicating that Iran could produce a nuclear weapon within 15 days, others reject this view, noting that previous US intelligence assessments still hold that Iran's production of a nuclear weapon could take several months, or perhaps a year.

Another report, cited by CNN and cited by four informed sources, stated that US intelligence "does not currently believe Iran is developing a nuclear weapon," but that manufacturing a bomb and deploying it on a specific target could take two to three years.

US President Donald Trump commented on statements made by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard before Congress, in which she denied that Iran had produced a nuclear weapon, saying, "I don't care what she said. I think they were very close to producing one."

Since June 13, Israel, with US support, has been waging an aggression against Iran, targeting nuclear facilities, missile bases, military leaders, and nuclear scientists. Tehran responded by launching ballistic missiles and drones deep into Israel, in the largest direct confrontation between the two sides.

According to the latest toll announced by Iran on Monday, the Israeli strikes killed 224 people and injured 1,277, most of them civilians. The Washington-based Human Rights Activists reported that the death toll had risen to approximately 639, with more than 1,329 injured, as of Thursday.

Meanwhile, the latest Israeli estimates, citing Hebrew media outlets, including Channel 12, indicate that 25 people have been killed. Meanwhile, Tel Aviv announced that the number of wounded arriving at hospitals had risen to 2,517, including 21 in critical condition and 103 in moderate condition, according to a Ministry of Health statement.

However, observers say that Israeli losses are higher, given the strict censorship Tel Aviv imposes on the publication of any information related to the locations of Iranian missile strikes or their consequences. This suggests that the statistics are likely to rise.
