The Brigades said in a statement: "After returning from the fighting lines, Qassam fighters confirmed targeting a gathering of enemy forces east of the town of Al-Qarara, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, with 13 120mm and 60mm mortar shells."
The statement also stated that the "Third Eye site, east of the city, was targeted with three short-range Rajum missiles on May 31, 2025."
The two operations are part of the Palestinian factions' response to the genocidal war waged by Israel, with US support, against Gaza for the twentieth consecutive month.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing mass crimes in Gaza, including murder, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt them.
The genocide left more than 178,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that killed many, including children.
For 18 years, Israel has been besieging Gaza, leaving approximately 1.5 million Palestinians out of a population of approximately 2.4 million in the Strip homeless after their homes were destroyed in the war of extermination.
For decades, Israel has occupied territories in Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon, and refuses to withdraw from them and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, along the pre-1967 borders.
