Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on Telegram that it bombed the settlements of Nir Yitzhak and Miftahim with a barrage of Q20 rockets.
She added that the rockets were fired from an area where Israeli military vehicles were located, north of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the Israeli occupation army announced that it had intercepted two rockets fired from the southern Gaza Strip, after air raid sirens were activated in five Israeli settlements adjacent to the Strip.
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that air raid sirens sounded in the settlements of Miftahim, Amuz, Yesha, Nir Yitzhak, and Brei Gan, adjacent to Gaza.
Meanwhile, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a televised statement Tuesday evening that his group's forces "carried out four military operations today, one of which targeted Lod Airport (Ben Gurion Airport) in the occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) area, with a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile."
He added, "The other operations targeted three sensitive targets of the Zionist enemy in the areas of Jaffa, Ashkelon, and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in occupied Palestine, using three drones."
This comes as the Israeli occupation army claimed to have intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, triggering air raid sirens in several areas.
The Houthis affirm their commitment to continuing their attacks on Israel until it ends its war of extermination against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which has been ongoing for more than 20 months.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a war of extermination in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.
The genocide, backed by the United States, left approximately 191,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and a famine claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
