Young Indonesian weightlifter Alyamaulida Kartika Pertiwi swept three gold medals in the women's youth 77kg class at the 2025 Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Alya was the best in three categories, namely snatch, clean & jerk, and total lift.
In the snatch, Alya recorded 93kg, the same as South Korean lifter Hangyeol Kim, but won because she did it in the first lift. Meanwhile, the bronze medal was won by Asal Kerimbayeva from Turkmenistan with 85kg.
For the clean & jerk, Alya strengthened her dominance with a lift of 116kg, winning over Hangyeol Kim (113kg) and Hulkar Ruzikulova from Uzbekistan (107kg).
With a total lift of 209kg, Alya secured her third gold medal, beating Hangyeol Kim (206kg) and Ruzikulova (191kg).
This achievement is proof of Alya's thorough preparation, targeting maximum results in this event.
