Among them is a "sensitive" target.. The Houthis carry out a series of operations against targets in Israel in response to the starvation in Gaza.

"We carried out a qualitative military operation against a sensitive target of the Zionist enemy in the occupied Beersheba area (south) with a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile," Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a statement published by Al Masirah TV, without specifying its nature.

He added that "the unmanned aerial vehicle carried out three military operations targeting three vital targets of the Israeli enemy in the areas of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat/south), Ashkelon (west), and Hadera, south of occupied Haifa (north)," without clarifying the results of those operations.

Earlier on Friday, the Israeli occupation army announced that it had intercepted a missile fired from Yemen, following the activation of air raid sirens in the Negev region in southern Israel and the Dead Sea in the east.

A Houthi military spokesman confirmed that the group is considering further escalatory options to halt the aggression, starvation, and genocide in Gaza.

In support of Gaza, the Houthi group has been launching continuous attacks on Israel using missiles and drones, and has also targeted ships linked to or heading towards it.

On Thursday, the leader of Yemen's Houthi group, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, said his group was considering additional escalatory options against Israel, "in support of the Gaza Strip," which has been subjected to a genocidal war since October 7, 2023.

Al-Houthi said, "This week, we carried out several operations against the Israeli enemy, using 11 hypersonic missiles and drones targeting occupied Palestine."

He added, "The maritime blockade on the Israeli enemy continues, and the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) has been completely closed again." Al-Houthi considered this "huge losses for the enemy and a defeat in every sense of the word."

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has continued its genocidal war in Gaza, leaving more than 203,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that has claimed the lives of many.
