Anadolu Agency's correspondent reported, citing medical sources and eyewitnesses, that Israeli occupation forces committed new massacres in the Gaza Strip, most notably the bombing of the Applied Science College building in Khan Yunis and a residential apartment in central Gaza City, in addition to targeting gatherings of civilians queuing for food aid in the north and south of the Strip.
Massacre on the "aid queue"
Sources said that Israeli forces opened artillery fire and fired from heavy vehicles at civilian crowds around the Sudanese area, northwest of Gaza City, killing 73 Palestinians and wounding dozens.
She explained that the victims were transported to hospitals in primitive vehicles and private vehicles, amid a near-total collapse of the healthcare system.
Al-Shifa Hospital received at least 50 bodies from the massacre, while 18 bodies arrived at Sheikh Radwan Clinic, two bodies at Al-Quds Hospital in Tal al-Hawa, two bodies at Al-Saraya Field Hospital, and one dead person at Al-Ma'moudiya Hospital.
In a related development, four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a gathering point for aid recipients near the Tahlia roundabout east of Khan Yunis.
Targeting civil defense and civilians
In Khan Yunis, the Israeli army also bombed the Applied Sciences College building, killing 14 Palestinians, including members of the civil defense team, according to medical sources told Anadolu Agency.
A mother and her daughter were also killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting an apartment in central Gaza City.
For its part, Al-Shifa Hospital issued an urgent appeal for blood donations due to a severe shortage of supplies, amid a steady buildup of dozens of casualties arriving as a result of the bombing, amid a near-total collapse of medical services.
"Death traps" continue
Since May 27, Israel and the United States have been implementing an aid distribution mechanism outside the supervision of the United Nations and international organizations, turning food queues into "death traps," according to Palestinian sources.
According to the government media office in Gaza, Israel has killed 995 Palestinians and injured 6,011 others using this mechanism, with 45 still missing as of Sunday.
Israel has continued to close all crossings since March 2, 2025, causing a famine in the Strip, with deaths from starvation increasing daily.
22 months of genocide
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a war of genocide against Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, with full American support and in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice's orders and all UN appeals.
This genocide left more than 200,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced, in addition to a famine that claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
